Changing or Cancelling Reservations for Front Country Campgrounds

The costs of changing or cancelling a reservation vary, depending on how the original reservation was made (website or call center) and how close to the arrival date the change or cancellation is made. Please refer to the table below to determine costs, and read the explanations below.

Only the person whose name is on the reservation has access to change or cancel a reservation.

Refunds are not given for an eviction, vacating your campsite early, or due to inclement weather.

Changing a reservation

There is a non-refundable change charge of $6.00 (plus tax) per change.

If these changes or cancellations are made more than 7 days before your scheduled arrival date, the camping fees will be refunded

If a change to a reservation is made less than 7 days before your scheduled arrival date, one night's camping fee will be forfeited. Any remaining camping fees will be refunded.

If date changes occur on same day of arrival, 2 nights camping fees will be forfeited.

Changing to a different campground is considered a cancellation and the reservation charge will not be refunded, unless the new campground is in the same park(eg; Cultus lake, Golden Ears, Green Lake). Changing sites within the same park may occur without a penalty, depending on availability.

Costs of changes made to reservation

 $6.00 plus taxes, per campsite $11.00 plus taxes ($6.00 Reservation charge + $5.00 call center charge) per campsite.

Cancelling a reservation

The original reservation charge is non-refundable.

There is a non-refundable cancellation charge of $6.00 (plus tax).

If a cancellation is made more than 7 days before your scheduled arrival date, the camping fees will be refunded.

If a cancellation is made less than 7 days before your scheduled arrival date, one night's camping fee will be forfeited. Any remaining camping fees will be refunded.

If a cancellation is made on the day of arrival, two night’s camping fee will be forfeited. Any remaining camping fees will be refunded.

Reservations are held until 11 AM of the day after the scheduled arrival date. If you do not notify us of a late arrival, your reservation will be cancelled and all camping fees will be forfeited.

Cost of cancellations made 7 or more days before the arrival date

$6.00, plus taxes, per campsite (camping fees refunded). $11.00 plus taxes ($6.00 reservation charge + $5.00 call center charge) per campsite (camping fees refunded).
Original reservation service charges of up to $18.00 (plus taxes) per campsite, or the call centre surcharge will not be refunded.

Cost of cancellations made within 7 days to 1 day of the arrival date

$6.00, plus taxes, per campsite (forfeit one night's camping fee). $11.00 plus taxes ($6.00 reservation charge + $5.00 call center charge) per campsite (forfeit one night's camping fee).
Original reservation service charges of up to $18.00 (plus taxes) per campsite, the call centre surcharge and the campsite fee (up to $38.00 per campsite) will not be refunded.

Cost of same day cancellations

$6.00, plus taxes, per campsite (forfeit two night's camping fees). $11.00 plus taxes ($6.00 reservation charge + $5.00 call center charge) per campsite (forfeit two night's camping fees).
Original reservation service charges of up to $18.00 (plus taxes) per campsite, the call centre surcharge and the campsite fee (up to $38.00 per campsite) will not be refunded.

No Shows and Late Arrivals

Reservations are held until 11 AM the day after the scheduled arrival date.

If you do not notify the park directly of a late arrival, your reservation will be cancelled, all reservation and camping fees will be forfeited, and the park operator will have the right to give the site away to another visitor.
