The CAD Public Map Service is a tool that a pest manager may use to identify the First Nations within an area and how they may be contacted.
CAD is an online, interactive mapping tool that allows First Nations, the general public, industry and other levels of government to draw a point, line or polygon in iMapBC and generate a list of First Nations with contact information for the area queried.
While not an exhaustive or definitive list, the CAD Public Map Service is a starting point in obtaining information on First Nations who hold Aboriginal rights and treaty rights, enabling industry to make those important initial connections to establish respectful working relationships.
